By using Books by SuperML.org (“Books”), you agree to these terms. This is a working draft written for an early-stage, invite-only product — if you have questions before relying on it for something high-stakes, ask us first.
Your account
You sign in with an existing Google or GitHub account, shared with the rest of superml.org. You're responsible for keeping that account secure — anyone who can sign into it can act as you here, including reading manuscripts you own or review.
Your content
You keep ownership of any manuscript, chapter, or cover image you upload. By uploading it, you're only granting us the license needed to store, render, and display it to you and the reviewers you invite — nothing broader. You confirm you have the right to upload and share whatever content you add.
Reviewer conduct
If you're reviewing someone else's manuscript, that access is a courtesy extended by the author. Use it to give feedback on the text — not to copy, redistribute, or publish the manuscript elsewhere without the author's permission. Comments should be about the work; harassment or abuse of the author or other reviewers isn't permitted and can result in your access being revoked.
Acceptable use
- Don't upload content you don't have the rights to share.
- Don't invite reviewers to manuscripts you don't own, or use invitations to gain access you weren't meant to have.
- Don't attempt to bypass access controls or extract another user's data.
- Don't use the service to distribute anything illegal, infringing, or abusive.
Service availability
Books is provided “as is,” without an uptime guarantee at this stage. We'll do our best to keep your data intact and available, but you should keep your own copy of any manuscript you upload — we're not a substitute for your own backups.
Termination
You can stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for accounts that violate these terms, particularly the acceptable-use section above.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Books by SuperML.org and its operators aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of manuscript content.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change materially, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
